Meet Celeste
For many years, Celeste has been an invaluable part of the Hands of Mercy family. Serving alongside our medical teams, she has dedicated countless hours to assisting providers, dispensing medications, and comforting patients. Through her hands-on experience in our clinics, God has cultivated a deep passion within her to serve her own people through medicine.
Her Journey to Medical School
Today, Celeste is actively pursuing her dream of becoming a physician. She is currently enrolled in medical school in Honduras, working incredibly hard to master the skills needed to bring life-saving care to her community. The financial burden of medical school is significant, and it is a cost her family is unable to bear. Recognizing this, Hands of Mercy has taken on her complete financial sponsorship. We cover everything she needs to survive and succeed, from fees, supplies, and textbooks to her daily living expenses.
